NBA public betting is the share of picks on each side of every spread, total and moneyline. You get the percentage, the number of picks behind it, and the crowd's side highlighted for every game tonight. The numbers combine the CentSports consensus with our own players' full-game bets on the NBA odds tonight, one per player per side, and they move right up to tip-off.

Reading the NBA percentages

Each game shows away and home rows, plus Over and Under for the total. Every percentage lists its pick count, and a side needs a minimum before it shows, so a lopsided number built on a handful of picks never sneaks on.

Our scale is simple. Under 60% is noise. Between 60% and 70%, the public has a side. Over 70% and the crowd is all in, and that's when the price on the popular team starts to get thin. In the NBA, spreads move in half points all day, so the number you bet matters as much as the side.

Injury news runs the NBA board

No league moves on late news like the NBA. A star ruled out, a rest day announced an hour before tip, a minutes restriction: any of them can swing a spread several points in minutes. Tap the game for the opening line next to the current one. Sometimes it's injury news the public hasn't caught up with. Sometimes it's bigger bettors on the other side. Either way, it's worth a second look before you jump on the popular team.

Back-to-backs and the long season

The NBA season is long, and the public doesn't always price in tired legs. A good team on the second night of a back-to-back, on the road, still draws the crowd's picks. Lines often account for that before the public does, which is one more reason to compare the percentage with the number rather than reading it alone.
